An excellent day of advocacy yesterday with our partner organization Moms Demand Action. 350 Moms convened at the MA State House to lobby legislators for common-sense legislation to reduce gun violence. Specific laws proposed would hold the gun industry accountable for irresponsible conduct; keep guns out of wrong hands and sensitive public places; increase training and safety standards for permit holders; continue to provide strong funding for community violence intervention programs.
