Worcester’s Incredible History of Nonviolent Activism

From its nonviolent revolt against the British Crown in 1774, to hosting the first national Women’s Rights Convention in 1850, to being a hub of antiwar activity in the 60’s and 70’s. Worcester has long been a city of city of nonviolent activism. CNVS Program Director Claire Schaeffer-Duffy shares some of this little known history through story and audience engagement.
